What is an Associate's Degree?
An Associate's Degree is a two-year degree offered by community, junior, or technical
colleges. Associate's Degrees are now also offered by a host of on-line learning
institutions, making it easier to attend school from the comfort of your home.
Associate's Degrees require 60 hours of course credit to graduate.
Depending on your interest, you can choose to obtain one of three types of Associate's
Degrees - an Associate of Arts degree, an Associate of Applied Science degree, or
an Associate of Science degree.
Why Are Associate's Degrees a Good Career Move?
An Associate's Degree can be a stepping-stone for continuing your education at a
four-year college or university. Armed with an Associate's Degree, you can complete
